چکیده

Introduction: Salivary gland Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology is a well-established pre-operative diagnostic tool done routinely worldwide. Heterogeneity of salivary lesions makes cytology diagnosis challenging for most cytopathologists. Milan system reporting six tier developed to minimize inter-observer variability, thus enhance reproducibility cyto-diagnosis.
Aims: To study utility System Reporting Gland Cytology.
Methods: This one-year hospital based at Department Pathology, Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital. It included 46 cases Cytology. Biopsy was available 22 them. were reported as per the and subsequently correlated with gold standard histopathology.
Results: Age patients ranged from 8-79 years submandibular parotid being commonly involved ones. Most in Category II (Non Neoplastic) according (48%) followed by IVa (Neoplasm- Benign) accounting 37%. Pleomorphic Adenoma commonest Benign Neoplasm.
